Renaissance Faire Booth Manager (Bristol Renaissance Faire) APPLY NOW

We are hiring for our booth at the Bristol Renaissance Faire, in the Kenosha WI area, weekend dates July 9th-September 4th + September 5th from 9:00AM - 7:00PM (19 hours/day, ~18 hours/weekend).

Applicants must be able to

• use Renaissance era English (for example, Shakespeare),
• work a booth for extended hours in all non-dangerous weather conditions (fair is rain/shine),
• hawk/shout out to passerby patrons to attract their attention, greet customers when they approach booth, and communicate effectively with customers.
• Educate themselves and customers about different products/uses/care, etc.
• Upsell/cross-sell products to increase sales.
• Maintain a pleasant atmosphere for customers to shop in.
• Set up, merchandise, and take down displays and secure products at the end of the night.
• Must have cash handling experience, previous keyholder positions a plus. Must also be able to take a card transaction with a smartphone device.
• Must be in costume at all times while the faire is open. Having Renaissance attire/"garb" is preferred but we will provide if necessary for the right candidate.
• Must be able to create a fun atmosphere for customers.

Benefits:

• Pay range $10-12/hour depending on performance.
• Commission based bonuses if exceed standard performance.
• If interested in traveling to other Faires we have openings in other markets in TX, WI, CA, and NY with other market opportunities opening up as we grow. If interested in other Faires must follow their COVID-19 guidelines which *may* include being vaccinated against COVID-19. Not a requirement for this position/Faire.

We make all manner of utensils, cutting boards, charcuterie boards, but also things like single-blade double edged safety razors and brushes, wooden shut cups and mugs, beer flights, pizza peels and more.
