Jewelry Assembler - 1099 Contractor APPLY NOW

Wild Cherry Spoon Co is seeking a jewelry assembler to attach metal chain, jump rings, lever rings, etc. to our wooden creations. This would be considered a remote, contracted 1099, position where the successful applicant would pick up wood and metal materials from our workshop, assemble them at home and then return them to our workshop.

Pay: We have a preliminary payment schedule which pays a set amount per piece completed. We anticipate this would pay somewhere in the range of $12-19/hour depending on a varying range of skill levels we time trialed. Since this would be a 1099 contracted position the successful applicant would be responsible for filing and paying their payroll taxes. No payroll taxes would be withheld from your weekly payments.

Qualifications: We will conduct a brief e-mail interview and at a set time ask qualified applicants to come in and do a demonstration of their ability to assemble. Part of this would be timing assembly to verify that a candidate does not get paid below minimum wage. Must have familiarity with jewelry assembly tools. Candidates who demonstrate previous experience assembling jewelry in a professional/hobbyist environment will be preferred.
